What does flash frozen mean?

Flash freezing (or blast freezing) is a high-tech method of food preservation that we use when freezing all Craft Meals. Flash freezing rapidly cools down the water molecules in food, which means they’re not able to form large ice crystals that would otherwise damage nutrients and affect textures.

After our chefs have finished cooking each meal, they are transferred to a blast freezer, where the temperature of the meals is decreased rapidly to -30*C. This ensures that all 98% of nutrients, and the quality of your dish, is locked in.
